Suggestions for where to connect with college students?

Hi -
My family is looking for a nanny just for the summer (our current nanny gave notice somewhat unexpectedly, so we need to fill a gap until school starts in the fall). I'm worried that the temp nature of the position won't appeal to a lot of "career" nannies, so I would consider hiring a college student who has previous childcare experience. However, I don't know how to best reach out people in this demographic! Any tips on how to connect with local college kids? Thanks!

Where are you located? I recently had an email come through either my area's moms' club or my neighborhood listserve saying a college woman was coming home and would be available for nanny/babysitting. If you have access to these types of listserves, you should send an announcement through there.

A lot of college students use sittercity as opposed to care which is more "career nannies". Good luck OP.

I'm in Alexandria & I did post to a local list, hoping someone might know of college students who will be home. But I'll check sittercity, too, I haven't used that one before.
