Household Manager Position

In order to be a household manager, you need someone to manage. Household management is not just thinking about which way you'd like to hold the toilet scrub brush.

Usually it's a parent who has a nanny, a housekeeper, a chef, and a gardener, to manage.

When both parents are too busy, they get a household manager, to manage the house staff.

Actually OP you are wrong. A house manager does not necessarily clean. I was a house manager/nanny for 2.5 years and the only "cleaning" I did was the children's laundry. A house manager helps maintain a household. They do grocery shopping, meal planning and preparation, drop off and pick up dry cleaning, drop off and pick up packages at the post office, help schedule appointments for the children (doctors, play dates, activities) and drive children to and from school and their activities. Most families that can afford to have a house manager have a housekeeper. Stop posting stupid rants in the forums, you sound like an idiot.

So many people seem to think that a household manager is a nanny who cleans house. What a fine way to snag one worker to do two jobs, for half the price. What a deal!

As said, to be a manager, you need things or people, to manage. Choosing which room to clean first, is not household management.

A household manager does not necessarily manage people - they manage the household. Keeping calendars in check, doing grocery shopping, dry cleaning, meal planning and prep, buying birthday presents for the children's friends' parties, and so on. OP is dumb and annoying.
