How childhood trauma can ruin your whole life. |
The silent epidemic: child abuse |
It's 9:30 in the morning. I'm working. |
Your post says 9:57 but no one really cares. |
Anyone catch the show? It made you wonder what really causes mental health problems (depression, anxiety, etc.)? Of course it's never one little thing, so let's not go there... |
No, I didn't, because we don't ever have the TV on when I'm at work. |
That is so fantastic! Not all of us have identical schedules, you do know? |
Anyone know a person with bipolar? |
Sure, my former MB was. And she was an awful parent to her 3 kids. Was that on Oprah? I don't watch tv while I'm working. |
Dr Phil had on bipolar people. That sparked my interest. Did you witness this woman's highs and lows?
|
My former boss? YES! One minute she was smiling and the next she was dragging her kid by his arm to his room. She was a monster. |
Did you get any sense that she could have controlled her behavior any better that she did? |
Absolutely. She was medicated and was still a mess. Her husband basically told her she couldn't have a nanny and be a SAHM anymore so I was let go. What a blessing in disguise. |
How long were you there? |
Why was this necessary? So because you never turn the tv on at work no one else should either? I watch tv while the kids are at school. My boss is well aware of it and has no problem with it. |
