Neurotic parents breed neurosis in their children. My MIL's fear of heights rubbed off on my DH. |
Fear of heights is VERY common, it could easily happen to someone without having it "rub off" from a relative of theirs. OCD is more likely to be passed on than a basic common fear of heights or snakes etc. |
