I laughed at this too. Good one

Do you think it's funny that most American nannies are obese?

I wasn't the PP who made this statement, but I think there's some truth to it. Why do you think so many nannies are eating all day?

Connect the dots. Not saying it's the only reason so many nannies are overeaters.

Helicopter nannies are no good either.

No, these parents do not just appear when the kid goes to college. Their condition typically starts at the child's birth, and evolves throughout the child's development.

It's hell being a nanny for helicopter parents. MB is a helicopter parent, but DB isn't so it sucks even more because there is a serious lack of communication between the two. Your son is 15, I shouldn't have to pour him a glass of milk at dinner every night.

That is so sad. How is this kid going to go to college?

I'm the pp who pours milk for my snowflake of a charge. How's he going to go to college? Who knows. One time he went to eat corn on the cob with hands (after he washed them) and was scolded because it's "germy" and he should have known to use corn on the cob holders. First world problems at their finest.

You're the nanny of a 15 year old charge?
Anonymous
I guess when your charge is a teenager, you're not exactly his nanny any more than you're his parents' nanny.
Whatever.

Understandable. Are there other kids in his class with nannies or is he the only one? How do you think he feels about it?
