Does anyone know of an easy place for our future nanny to get a dTAP (vaccine for pertussis or whooping cough) ? We plan to reimburse if she/he is willing but don't practically know how to go about this if she/he does not have a regular doctor - has anyone done this? I read a previous thread about reactions/different peoples opinions etc and certainly vaccines are a hot topic, but just looking for practical considerations here.
Thanks! |
My post is above- to clarify we are in Montgomery county close to DC. |
She should be able to get it at a CVS, Walgreens, local clinic, etc. They run ~$100 if you're getting it from one of those locations rather than from a regular doctor.

You can look for locations near you. |
Nanny here!!! I got the pertussis shot in minute clinic CVS =] |
You can also get it at the health department for free - my husband got one in Fairfax. |
Walgreens or cvs will run it through her INS if she has any |
