I am so done with the nanny biz. It seems those who hire nannies are people with way too much money (though they typically lowball the nanny pay) and all they do to "care" for their own kids is buy them more useless crap. They always want their adult time away from their kids and would rather pawn them off on the nanny whenever possible. I'm sick of packing snacks for school only to have the rotten little shit come home with uneaten saying he didn't like what I packed him and demanding me make him something else. You're 8! Make your own damn snack! Also, you and your brother quit breaking your shitty toys and asking me to fix them. I say no because if your parents are going to continue to buy you all this shit only have you break it, then THEY can fix it! I wish I could quit right now, but I need the money for my remaining 6 weeks.

You need to be in a different career because you clearly do not like children. It is nannies like you that give us GOOD nannies a horrible name. Please find another job in a different field. You should not be working with children with your attitude. It's scary.

I don't think she's a bad nanny. I used to nanny for two girls. They got older. I got a new job, which I love. I sometimes babysit for the girls, and they're the most rotten, foul, evil things imaginable. I guess I'm just better suited to be a "toddler" nanny.

Lol this made me laugh. I don't think OP is a deranged person, she's probably just fed up with the selfish, ungrateful, cheap family who have selfish, ungrateful, spoiled children.

OP, there are alot of people who hire nannies who don't act this way. What do you have to offer? Do you have any ECE background? First Aid/CPR? Experience? You'll attract a better paying job if you carry any of these.

I have had one incorrigible little boy and I still look back fondly on my time with him. Some kids are spirited. Spoiled little shits? Possible cosmic energy. Maybe you are a shitty person and the universe is giving you exactly what you put into it.

If you are really so miserable then quit. You are a disgrace to nannies everywhere. I hate hearing nannies complain about their charges in such a matter but then say "I would quit, but I need the money!". If you need the money then go work somewhere else where the work is not nearly as personal and where you are not around children all day, poisoning them with your negativity.
