Tell her you're an adult and totally understand and are not trying to embarrass her, but you're uncomfortable with hearing them at night & it's keeping you awake.

Uhm, no. There is nothing disgusting or selfish about sex, especially because these are two married adults having sex in their own house.

What would be selfish and disgusting would be the OP bringing this up, especially if she implied the kids were "exposed" to something illicit. Get earplugs. Do what you would do if this was your neighbor in an apt building.

they are FORCING others to hear sex acts. It IS DISGUSTING. NO ONE wants to hear other people having sex! Have consideration for other people - especially your live in nanny and your kids! Sex CAN AND IS done at a sound level no one can hear. But they're careless.

Are they yelling and stuff or are you in a small house that isn't very sound proof. If they are just being really loud they may assume you are asleep. If its the second id say something in passing. I had a hard time sleeping last night it.was really noisy.

Exactly my thought too! Sex is normal and those of you who are "offended" by hearing it must live in a bubble.
