OP didn't say anything about looking to hire a SAHM. She is considering looking for a college student.

Most people want to work more than 2 hours a day. That’s a job for a teenager and most teens aren’t interested because they have sports, boyfriend etc etc. it’s very hard to find this. I suggested a SAHM because they would already be home and it could be a win win if the kids are the same age and sports practice begins after 5 pm.

Most SAHP's want to focus on their kids and its not worth the $15-20 an hour someone would pay at most, when you have to feed the kids and that means your kids miss out on things. A lot of sports are also right after school, ours are at 4. I find it offensive that the expectation from people like you is a SAHP does it as a favor to you for little pay while you earn a good income.
