NP decided to give me “work phone” 9 months into our contract

OP here- like I said, at first they said “we don’t want the kids pictures on your phone” and I understand that
But than he added me to the mom dad and my personal number group chat, so any picture I send from my work phone, ends up on my private phone anyways, the dad installed it like this.

That’s why I’m confused. I think they are trying to tell me that they don’t want me to use my private phone at all, which I barely use for 5 minutes combined per day…. But they don’t want to say it out right.
I will keep using my private phone, especially in front of them next week, just to see their reaction. Will be funny if they then tell me to put it away

1. I don’t agree to any positions that require a child to stay home everyday.
2. I’m fine with a work phone. It goes in the diaper bag and stays there. The diaper bag needs to have a home next to a charger or I’ll forget to plug in the phone.
3. I’m fine with cameras. I don’t want to know where they are.
4. The child has a minimum of 30 mins of naptime or quiet time daily.
5. I gave an apple watch so that I can text or call while with kids, when necessary. Parents prefer that.

Never ever speak on the phone and barely get a chance to say hi to my mom and boyfriend. So that rubs me a little the wrong way. Thank you!

Stop taking pictures. These people are crazy and are about to blame you for something they can fire you firm. Start looking for a new job.

Yes please use your phone in front of them next week. I guarantee you you’ll be fired. Obviously you say it’s 5 min they probably don’t want you 0 min on your phone. Take the hint put your phone away or prepare to be fired
