My last job was like this except the twins were toddlers plus one baby. I made $38hr for all 3, 2 weeks vacation, 1 week sick time, 3 snow days, federal holidays paid, guaranteed hours, $275 health insurance stipend, and they bought a used mini van for me to use. |
Oof. I think most family would get 2 nannys for this |
No, one adult should be able to handle this. |
Should be able to handle, and willingly wanting to handle are not the same thing. |
This is a great suggestion and what I would do. |

About 80K/52week PLUS HEALTHcare stipend of about $400/monthly. Benefits:10 days PTO, all holidays paid, 7 sick day. |
Sounds like it's time to raise your own children. |
I have been a professional Nanny for well over 10years. First, if you plan to actually hire a Nanny you want someone with experience handling multiple children under 3.
Your particular circumstance is extremely demanding. I would not accept that type of job for less than $40.00 an hour. You could find a Nanny that charges less, but again, make sure they have experience. Best of luck to you. |
More like $50/hr. Too much for one person's. |
People on here are delusional. The job market has cratered and nannies are lucky to be getting 30-35/hr. |
As long as there are women who don't want to take care of their children there will always be a demand for them. You are delusional is you believe the prices you quoted. |
My sister gets 45$ per hour for a similar gig. Retired K-6 teacher. Every benefit you can imagine. Even gas mileage.
She tells me: 3 kids? I am used to 24! Very well-off family, obviously. |
Who cares what these women want? Well paying jobs are being slashed left and right and it’s only going to get worse. Your prime customer base doesn’t have the money to pay you what you want. |
What a misogynistic comment |
