Getting started with Au pair- how much space, vehicle and agency

Ideally, your home allows for some separation between you/kids and your AP. Our AP does not have an in-law suite, but she has a lot of privacy downstairs and only shares her bathroom with guests. Out AP also does not have a designated car. We have 2 cars and one car is almost always available for her use. I would sign up with multiple agencies, maybe even meet the LCCs.
