Nanny transition question

OP here - nanny is going back to college. She will still be around and will probably do some week end sits for us, but she will also be busy with course work and college life. So I don't think I can say "nanny will visit every Friday" but I do know she will be back sometime.

Nanny is very happy with us and sad to leave. We are happy for her to grow and go back to school to be an elementary teacher but devastated to lose her.

Ahhhh! Ok. I asked because I am a nanny- leaving an amazing family, for similar reasons and we are talking through this same thing!
I think we’ve decided for a transition week: where I come in the am- new nanny comes to eat lunch with all of us. Then I go home. Repeat cycle for all 5 days in the week.

But I’ll let you know how it turns out!
