This is not a household manager/nanny. Take note. A house manager doesn't clean the house. They don't do the housekeeping. They are the one and set how often the Housekeeper/cleaning people will come. Do not expect either find a household manager who is open and willing to be your housekeeper.

We hired a nanny/housekeeper. Her top priority is the kids, but when they are in school she does the basic housecleaning, grocery shopping, some meal prep, laundry, errands, etc...

It's an expensive, imperfect and critical solution for us.

We found her on care.com but neighborhood references are always our strongest leads.

I agree w/ others that being very specific and clear in what you're looking for is critical.

It’s wise to try to find the person you want and ask what their rates are. But if budget is tight, you should state your price range in your ad. Most people will probably expect 25-30/hr.
