Don't blame this mom. Probably she must feel a little upset and hurted when her son says those things. Just don't ask your nanny to cook more for the wknd or so; even though you will be paying her extra. It's nice if you ask that; but at some point your nanny is going to leave. So don't hang or depend of her. Tell your wife make a good Team with your nanny, so nanny can teach her how to cook this food. Keep trying and keep trying until the taste it's similar to the nanny. Everything it's possible if you put so much effort. This is better, as when your nanny is not working with you anymore; your wife will be able to cook by herself for your soon. Your nanny can help her step a step everyday how to improve the taste. Good luck.

We are both trying to learn how to cook kids friendly dishes from our Nanny but the kid has developed a taste already. He just knows when we cook his food. I try to make home made chicken nuggets and he asked for cold cereal last night. He refused the frozen chicken nuggets also.

LOL. Pro tip: your nanny seasons the food he eats, which is why who knows he cooked what. Season your food!
