No, aside from a sore arm for a daylight both. And I guess if I was analyzing, a bit tired from the second. |
Day* |
The Virginia Dept of Health's website includes Childcare workers... I assume that includes nannies. https://www.vdh.virginia.gov/covid-19-vaccine/ |
I'm an MB, got my first dose last week and I definitely could not have been chasing after toddlers the next day. I'm 40, fwiw. I'm going to take 1-2 days off after the second dose.
I'd be fine with giving a nanny 1-2 days off for the first dose, and 2-3 days off for the second dose, on top of existing sick leave; however, my DH has a flexible job, which makes it possible for us to arrange for something like that. Taking a few days off if you don't feel well is not only reasonable, it may be necessary. |
I just got the first one this weekend and totally fine. My next one is around the Easter holiday and I won’t be working during that time so it works out perfect |
I'm on my late 30s and already got both vaccines. I went straight to work afterwards. Didn't get much side effect. |
I am getting the 2nd shot soon and hopefully my boss is gonna pay me if I can’t work. Especially since they’re the ones who urged me to get it . I can’t afford to not get paid ![]() |
You don’t have sick time/PTO? What about vacation time? |
I do! But why would I use my vacation time for something they asked me to get ?! I would’ve waited! I don’t want to use my vacation time to lay in bed miserable |
