They aren't teachers. Stop being selfish and let real teachers get vaccinated first.

I am a frontline worker and have been working in a hospital for the entirety of the pandemic. She is immunocompromised. I want her to get protected.

Last i knew, there were exceptions made for medically recommended early vaccination. We’re discussing early vaccinations for healthy nannies.

Don’t want to jump the line but the guidelines are so vague it seems that they should be included (it’s not like they can do their job remotely).

Yes they can.
I wrote a letter so my nanny could take with her and she got
her 2 vaccines already.
Nannies are childcare providers.

You must have lied. Nannies of one family are not frontline workers and should not be getting vaccine.

I received a communication from State Delegate Ariana Kelly specifically saying that nannies are eligible in MD, at least at CVS and Walgreens. Has anyone here had any luck with this?

My employer just told me that Walmart, Walgreens and cvs are offering vaccines to all childcare workers nationwide.

I don't think nannies qualify, unfortunately. We called several places including the pharmacies, and they are not abiding by state's phases because they lack the resources. They turned us down at three different places. They are checking ids. Has anyone had luck?

I checked Walmart and nannies don't qualify. they ened to be licensed day care or child care providers or those who work in those type of settings.

Our nanny got her first shot at six flags this week.

She was armed w/ a copy of a paystub, her contract, and a letter from us. She didn't have to show anything.

How did she get the appointment? Ours was turned down the first place and we called and they are checking ids?

Nanny here. Got mine in Waldorf. My employer provided me the same things, didn't need them. Just confirmation of my appointment and my DL. Isn't more people vaccinated a good thing? I didn't dress up as an old person or pay a lot of money to a PAC or claim to be something I wasn't. It's not just for my protection!

Go online and sign up for any of the mass sites in MD or Walgreens. Mark "childcare". Get appointment and show up. Noone is checking anything.
