She needs a negative PCR test and then after a week maybe I'd come back if I were you.

I know someone who tested positive for 3 months. Doctors say 14 days post- first positive test. Here it’s a little questionable when that is, so I’d do the later one just in case. But paid leave until a negative test could be way too conservative in 15-20% of cases where positive tests linger but contagion doesn’t.
