Extra Nanny Precautions due to Surge in Covid cases?

If you haven't noticed, we're in a pandemic. Childcare of all kinds, including nanny care, is at a premium. People are trying to work at home with small kids underfoot, or school aged kids who need DL help. People are being called back into offices and now need care when they were managing before. Rates are up and so is demand.

The nanny will be just fine without a family who demanded she quarantine without a positive test and refused to pay her.

PP. Sorry, person I quoted. I was responding to the person who said to have her stay home unpaid and "save the $$," not to the person who asked how she would pay her bills if she sat at home unpaid for two weeks.

Yes. We are all aware that having nanny stay home without paying her means effectively laying off/furloughing nanny, and potentially not having her return. But ...that wasn’t the question - OP asked if anyone was taking precautions. Anything helpful to add there?

In case it's helpful to anyone else, here are steps we're taking:
Transportation stipend to ensure nanny doesn't have to rely on public transportation
Mask wearing in the home by parents and nanny
Biweekly COVID testing for nanny and parents
Daily temperature checks for parents, baby and nanny
