Definitely quit, OP.
You don’t have to be totally forthcoming about your reasons if you feel weird about it. Just say “I’m so sorry but unfortunately I need to give you my two-weeks notice. Looking after Larla and Larlo has been great, but personal circumstances have arisen that do not allow me to continue in this position. I understand that this puts you in an unfortunate position of needing to find a replacement so I can stay on for two more weeks if you would like, but my last day will need to be Sept. XX.” |

| You are on time. Perfect time if you just started this new Job, quit. No resentments at all. It's a really bad idea to stay in this position if you don't feel conmofable and happy about everything. |
