Has there been an official update from State Dept? The last notice on their website was from March, stating they'll update it within 60 days and then every 30 days after. I can't imagine au pairs are starting to come this week.

My understanding is that Cultural Care has people arriving this week. |
Sorry, as a follow-up, our au pair knows people that are flying here this week. Of course, they need to get on a plane and actually arrive but it seems like things are moving. I believe assuming these people arrive they will be the first group since the pause. |
Please update here if AP actually arrives. My agency has not be communicating much on this, I have an AP scheduled to arrive in a couple of months and I am monitoring the situation but have very realistic expectations. |
Yes, I will. Ours is supposed to come in 4 weeks (two months late), so I'm all over it.
I think that right now the agencies are more focused on families that are in limbo (our au pair was supposed to leave a month ago, our new au pair was supposed to arrive two months ago). I'm most certainly not giving our agency any awards for communication, but we have heard from them. |
Really? Because that's not what is happening according to the state department. |
What is happening according to the DoS and can you point to a link? |
PP here, where would your AP be coming from? mine is from Brazil but I lost hope for this year, unfortunately I can't do much until she actually doesn't show up. |
Also from Brazil. I am also super-skeptical, but at the moment the borders are open. Of course, that can change at any time. Cultural Care was actually pushing us to have our au pair come earlier - like in the next two weeks. We’ll see if we end up regretting saying now. |
Looks like the State Department did update yesterday to note that ECA Programs are still paused. So, it doesn't seem like any au pairs will be arriving this week. It would be nice to hear something from CC.

Au Pairs from Mexico, Costa Rica and Brazil have arrived today 5/12 so the 60 day suspension has been lifted. |
Wow. How does that fit with the State Department link posted directly above? I'm confused. What about European au pairs? |
The 60 days were over today and the suspension was not extended. European Au Pairs can't enter yet because of the travel ban in place. This is unrelated to the 60-day suspension. |

would APs likely get caught up in something like this, however? |
Brazilian au pair out of country arrived yesterday to Virginia |
