Weather related time off

| I work for a company that doesn't close and dh is a contractor and they sometimes follow opm. We have a conversation with the nanny when the weather is predicted to be bad and use everyone's best Judgement. If it's clear where she is and where we are, she'll come in. If it's bad where she is but ok at my house then she'll wait until her streets are cleared if she can and come in or get the day off paid. If it's bad where I am then I stay home with my kids anyway and she doesn't need to come in. We had our nanny for 3 years and never had a conflict with this. We just all try to be reasonable. |
