I disagree. I favor lying. Telling someone their house is a pig sty will never work in your favor nor will the pig ever learn a lesson (she will just tank a recommendation).

My brother is an EMT and enters peoples homes all the time for emergencies. He said some of the grossest homes are in the wealthiest neighborhoods. Go figure.

He did say it often awful pet smells and messes. I think owners must be oblivious to their pets' stink.
