Baby sitter “caught” smoking

I grew up not wearing a seat belt. We now consider that neglect. When you know better you do better. My ancestors smoked and I don’t think it made them bad people because they didn’t know better. Now people know the choice they are making.

Being touched once by someone with smoke on their clothes is not the end of the world. It's fine not to hire a sitter who smokes, but get a grip.

Unless the child is allergic to the smoke, but parents didn’t disclose because they assumed childcare providers wouldn’t smoke while taking care of kids.
