So op, have you gotten out with the kids, or did the parents say they want their kids in the house all day?

They don’t mind the kids being home all day. MB will be taking oldest for music and swimming once a week. I think they don’t want me driving around both of them, they Haven’t said it but I can feel it

Weren’t you already driving both children, when you picked the older child up from school? Also, are you content having to stay home all day with two children? I would go bat shit crazy if I had to stay in the house all day.

I don't understand why you don't go out? Just say " were taking a picnic to the park tomorrow " then do it.

"They probably are thinking that you are not doing a good job because you lack the initiative to take them out. Why would you assume that you’re not allowed to leave?"

+1
And if you told me you were waiting for me to explicitely tell you to go out I would question how much common sense you had. I think if a family is crazy enough to want their nanny inside constantly after the first couple early months they will say that specifically; most other people are going to assume you are going to get out some - although verifying nif you're allowed to drive them (if that's what you have in mind) is needed.
