How to tell my nanny i need her to be on time

I am the PP with the statement about on-time being late. I apply that to myself too - I am home a good fifteen minutes before our designated end time every day (and of course she is paid for the whole time) so that we have time to catch up and she can gather her things while she is still "on the clock." I see her end time as the time she should be out the door and on her way to her car.

I feel that if I walk in the door at her end time, I am also late, and the one or two times that has happened in our year together due to traffic, I pay her OT accordingly.

I’m the PP with the always late nanny, I used to do that, get home 15 min prior to do a hand off and let her leave at her exact quitting time. I stopped doing that since she has shown a complete lack of respect for my time, and I now come home exactly at 5.

I had an employer like that and I really appreciated it! I made an extra effort to be a couple of minutes early for my start for her, just because she did that. Most employers aren't like that and waltz in right as I'm clocking off and then want to chat for ten minutes, ugh.
