I am the "bitch", Dear, and I am not a nanny. I employ a great nanny. |
This is my post, OP, and I am an MB and not a nanny. Your pathetically striking out at nannies is embarrassing. Consider aftercare/daycare for your child. You assume that critical and bitchy comments came from nannies - and they didn't. You will not keep your current nanny for long with your ugly attitude. You are a good daycare mother - embrace it. |
We pay our nanny $27 an hour. After school nannies are hard to come by and very hard to retain. I have friends who pay $30 an hour for an afternoon nanny. |
You would block out a short period of time every day, drive there, and do it for very little pay? Some people value quality and longevity, which you’ll likely only get with high pay for lsuch a short timeframe. |
Agree. -- Signed, a nanny. |
+1 |
+2 You are horrible, OP. I can only hope your new nanny reads this thread and quits. --signed, an MB |
And yet you still have not provided one useful piece of advice. Bitch. |
Please stop embarrassing yourself, OP. |
Oh, well thanks for the useless post. And speaking of "striking out" at people needlessly, way to attack people who send their kids to daycare. WTF "daycare mom". So you showed your true colors...you think you are better than parebts who send kids to daycare. What a stupid thing to feel superior about. Sorry I lashed out at the nannies though - should have been lashing out at some "nanny moms" who can dish it out but cannot take it apparently. My question was about a plan for a nanny. Why do you find that so offensive? You guys are losers. |
|
Wow.
To come into this forum, ask for advice, receive said advice then to call us all bitches + losers!!...... Especially coming in from an OP!!!! You really show anger issues, that you are inferior plus your attitude shows that you have zero self-control. Someone like you should not be around children either.
|
You have embarrassed yourself enough, OP. |
No one was "striking out" at you, OP, they were laughing at your question. You asked a question with an obvious answer - more than a few MOTHERS commented on it. You lashing out a nannies and calling them names proves that you are not someone who should employ a nanny. Daycare is your only alternative. Now please - stop the inane rantings. You are not helping your case at all. |
Have her meet your child for an hour, but definitely have daycare meet her too. You will have to add her to the list of approved pick ups. Also, $25 an hour for those hours seems reasonable if you want someone reliable. |
| If you want your kid get used to her then leave them together by themselves, don't interfere with the bonding. |
