How to discipline a child ?

For me I don't really call it discipline because I simply teach the right things all the time. This is the reason why I like to start with little babies because I don't want to take on other people's mess. some examples are: Let's use gentle touch, inside voice is better, we say hello to friends; please and thank you; we are leaving after reading this book. Avoid using sentences like "no screaming!", "don't throw your bottle!." The child may only be hearing "scream" and "throw the bottle", you absolutely want to avoid that. I also read good behavior oriented books and demonstrate for the child and also practice it because children learn by watching you the adult. Also prepare the child for expected behavior you want him/her to present somewhere like "hey Maddie, when we get to the zoo today, let's wait our turn if many people are looking at the animal." Ask for her to repeat while in car and when you reach the
