4-day overnight?

Please don't allow yourself to be taken advantage of by this family. They need to pay you for the week you're away. Then they need to pay you an additional amount that makes sense for your market for the overnight. AND THEN they need to pay you overtime for the remaining portion of the week that you'll be working for them.

Of course, if you really need the money and you think they'll drop you if you stand up for yourself you'll have to take that into consideration. But no matter what they need to pay you for the week they'll be on vacation.

Do you have guaranteed hours written into your contract?
