Schedule Mix Up. MB Upset

I am sorry but why should the nanny send texts to confirm plans or show any sort of remorse for what happened? This is an insane situation. The MB fucked up, there is nobody to blame but MB, MB is clearly unhinged and does not deserve this conscientious nanny who clearly goes the extra mile for this family when she could do a million times better.

OP Here, MB tends to blame others for her own mess ups at times, and acts as if it's the other persons fault. Even after yesterday's conversation, I told her I'm willing to come in early in case she will not be home, she rejected my offer and then this became the outcome.

I sort of question whether there is more going on here, since this seems so bat shit crazy. If there isn't anything else you're not telling us, get a new job. She's nuts.

You're saying the bus waited for you to get there? I highly doubt that. Bus drivers don't have a spare 20 minutes - at the very minimum - to wait. Weren't there other kids on the bus? Weren't there other bus routes to do? No way. They would take the kids to the bus garage to await parent pick up. This makes me doubt the rest of your story.

They do in some towns in my state. My friend was delayed at work once and couldn't get to the bus stop, so the bus driver couldn't release her daughter to the person my friend had sent to meet the bus. The driver took her back to school and my friend picked her up there. Maybe they handle it differently in other places.

Please read again. It was the final week of school, the whole week the kids got half days, so MB told me I can come in at my regular hours 3-9 pm and she would be home to get the kids from the bus. She was not & the driver of the bus contacted me because no one was there to get the children.

Well I'm sorry that you ma'am/sir doubt my story. MB has smaller children and yes normally they will take them back to the school, but her child was the last child on the bus, and being that I'm also an emergency contact for the children. I was contacted. Believe what you will.

I am the child's emergency contact, if MB can't be contact that her child will arrive early or late from their normal time, the driver will contact me. Her child is also SN with other health issues, so that's why she has her number!

Op here, I agree. I called her phone and it went straight to VM, when I later talked to her she stated she was out running errands, and getting her new phone situated and did not realize the time. SMH
