Nanny having closed eyes must use drugs. RSS feed

My shift starts at 8:00am. I sometimes arrive at a work at 7:40am (just to beat the traffic). I stayed in my car, lower the car seat, listen to music or the news while my eyes are closed. Sometimes, I just even want to relax or SLEEP a bit. I have never done drugs or smoke in my life. I am also a social drinker. If my boss dare ask me if I do drugs, because she saw me closing my eyes early in the morning and outside of my normal work schedule, she will find herself a new nanny. What I am doing out of my work schedule is none of her business.

By the way, I did tell her that I sometimes sleep in my car, when I arrive at work early in the morning. She invited me to come inside the house and relax until my shift starts. I politely thanked her, but said no. I enjoyed my early morning naps in my car with the radio on.

This MB sounds completely insane. (I'm an MB btw.) You are entitled to close, roll, cross or do whatever you want with your eyes, in your (parked) care, before your shift. She sounds obsessive (monitoring you), paranoid (jumping to conclusions) and rude (asking about it, and over text no less). It's a terrible combination of traits. Tread carefully. If I were you, I'd look for another job.
