Feeling strange about nanny RSS feed

Well, it didn't come up in conversation who exactly she lived with. Just that it was family but that was all she said. Further probing meant that I could see who exactly she lived with.
It's just everything put together that makes me worry she has a problem. She is nice enough but it is unheard of to be in her situation at 33 for most people. Justuseems strange.

It's unheard to be single at age 33? And to live at home ? Op your only concern should be how she takes care of your child. Being single doesn't mean she has a problem .

I'm 28 and easily pass for 18. Glad to know some people might think I have a developmental problem.

Please people.

Let's stop feeding into this bored poster who has no life outside the computer.

uh, no one is assuming anything. Good grief. Throwing out ideas.

Uh, yes they did. Look at previous post where someone suggested it.

In some weird way, I think I get what OP is saying. I know someone who is 30, doesn't date, has had few boyfriends, and lives at home with her parents. 75% of her social activities involve her parents. She's VERY naive and sheltered. Socially, her development is a bit stunted Not sure how that relates to OPs idea that that person wouldn't make a good nanny though. Or how it fits into her being young.

PP, naive and sheltered in whose eyes though?
Judging someone based on who they live with, their relationship status or who they choose to spend time with socially is madness. Nobody truly knows what is going on in that persons life or what they have experienced.

OP, I think you need to get a reality check. She sounds like a great nanny and a good person. It is none of your business what her social and personal life is like unless it impacts on your children which clearly it doesn't.

Op maybe your nanny is lesbian . Are you worry that she would influence your child with bad ideas?

So because OP has a single nanny who is in her thirties, nanny must surely be a lesbian? Right. Fantastic logic applied there.

You are unbelievably stupid. Please go away until you can carry on an intelligent discussion.

So you think all single women over 30 are lesbian? Unbelievable....

Some people just don't make relationships a priority. Unless a guy knocks on my door chances are I will never meet him. I'm not looking for a guy and I never will. I simply don't like dating or relationships. I'm much happier alone.

I am 26, live with my boyfriend in his parent's basement. We pay little rent and we are close to buying a home. We both come from very poor backrounds. Think you are reading way too far into this. Who cares as long as she is a great nanny?

No one said that. I hope those of you who are nannies aren't trying to teach reading comprehension to anyone.
