I am flabbergasted at how rude & inconsiderate this family is.

Geez, you are providing a few hours of free childcare for their beloved daughter whom you obviously love, yet they cannot take the time to offer you a nice gift or bonus......??!

They sound like horrible people to me.

This. And I am sure they do not want you to stop taking care of their little girl for free and saving them money.

And note to young parents: no matter how much someone loves your child, it is still WORK AND RESPONSIBILITY to be with them alone. You thank anyone who is even kind to your child!!!

The very least these parents should have done is make sure the little girl bought or made a gift for her former nanny. I am honestly shocked by how inconsiderate these people are. Sadly, the little girl will grow up to be equally rude.
