OP here and I think like I said before, it is because I look a lot younger then my age and I am told often that I am sweet. Maybe she thinks she is above me as well so can speak to me like that. I wouldn't say it bothers me but it is odd. A lady about 15 years older used to speak to me like this a lot but there was a big age gap.
