There is no such thing as a degree in nannying and no licence of any kind is required for an individual to be a Nanny in your home. Therefore, anybody who takes care of a child can call herself a nanny. Most of you look for the cheapest childcare you can find and do not Give a damn whether person is legal. Guaranteed that family was also Nigerian and brought the woman over without paying her. Hope if that's the case the parents get a human trafficking charge. A strong message needs to be sent. Happens in the Saudi community here all the time with poor malaysian (practical) slaves.
