Pregnant single nanny RSS feed

I am a pregnant nanny, the main problem I foresee with this is that your family may find new childcare knowing you will be leaving. I think it helped a lot when I assured my bosses that I planned on staying, they eventually offered to let me bring my baby along too. So I hope you have a nice family who doesn't ditch you for their convenience, like if a daycare spot opens up or they find a new nanny. I will be working up to 38 weeks but it would have been longer, MB has 2 weeks of time off in December so I will have to take my maternity leave early. I am returning 4 weeks after she is born. My charges are 2, 4 and 7.

I'm not a nanny but I am a single mom. I had to go back at 3 and a half weeks. I worked 80% time for about 4 months after that. I had a normal delivery, minimal tearing and a very healthy baby. I was very lucky. Hope the same for you

Good luck and congrats.

Taking care of my own baby and someone's elses was HARD. I felt guilty when they were both crying and I went to my son first . I quit this job after 2 weeks. Hope your baby is not colicky like mine is OP! Good luck!
