You people are jumping to conclusions. We host Au Pairs, and we could host any nationality, all with the same price. We choose Mexicans. We like the Mexican culture and like the opportunity to learn more about our neighboring country. Also, many people don't regard Castillian as the same as Spanish. Your Argentinian Castillian is barely understandable to much of the Spanish speaking world. Your cuisine is more reflective of stereotypically European preferences (nearly interchangeable with German and Italian cuisine) and while that is great, it may be that this family is looking for a different kind of Latin influence on their children.

Ha! I'm the poster who (as you correctly figured out) omitted the word "speak". I appreciate your faith in me. It's clear the ranter couldn't get past the first incorrect usage to see the other times I used "spanish" in grammatically correct ways. I do think I have some work to do on figuring out the capitalization of the language (or not) though. I'll get right on that.
