MB is mad about bruise after saving my charge from choking

If you aren't certified, get your certification!! Red Cross and the American Heart Association offer excellent training.
If you are, you should brush up!! YouTube is a great resource for that.

So glad it turned out this way, OP! And I second the usefulness of First Aid and CPR courses, everyone should have a basic knowledge of what to do in an emergency.

Sounds like a bit of a misunderstanding to me.

Glad things turned out well & that they are going to get trained + certified as well. Yeah!!

However to be truthful, the fact that she even entertained the possibility that you could have injured her child would still bother me.

Her comment changed the entire dynamic of your relationship w/them.
Are you going to completely let that go?
Or will it always bother you?

Not OP but this is not something I would be able to overcome and If would have to leave because she believed that I was capable of deliberately abusing her child.

She didn't think OP abused the child. She thought she overreacted to the child gagging.

17:16. OP has been their child(ren) primary caregiver for three years and she questions her decision to a life threatening situation. I would waste no time in finding new employment because a Nanny has to make wife or death decision upon occasion and her decision should not be questioned.

You're over dramatic. MB was wrong but it was a misunderstanding and OP said they talked about it and worked it out. If you are the type of person who can't be questioned and can't accept an apology, you are a bad fit to be a nanny anyway.

Glad its been sorted out. Its great you handled it well. Personally i'd of told the parents immediately though. If that was my baby i'd want to know asap
