OP, you have choices:
- don't take a job that requires you to use your own car. - negotiate a full car detailing 2 or 3 times a year as part of your benefits package - don't buy a 42k car that you will be using constantly for the transport of small messy kids - buy a cheaper car - teach the children how not to be filthy - buy floor mats, seat covers, etc... to protect your vehicle And I agree that you will be in a stronger position in the job market, and to negotiate effectively for yourself, if you try to improve your English. |
Picking up kids at their private school car pick-up lane, that would definitely not be an option. And their mother insists that the kids eat and do their homework while getting hustled to afterschool sports all over DC and Montgomery Co. You really have no clue, pp. I'd never use my own car for this kind of wear and tear. Never. Just say no. |

Quit and find a different job.
Most nannies need a nanny with a car, some do not. |
And no food and juice in the car! Others can manage this, OP needs to set new rules and invest in a seat cover. |
I've read far more difficult-to-read posts presumably from white/american moms who can't be bothered to spell check and/or pay attention to autocorrect. I got exactly what OP's post was trying to get across, perhaps you guys need to work on reading comprehension/context? |

Why do you let the kids eat and drink in your car. First of all eating in a car is dangerous, they could choke and you wouldn't notice. Juice is not heal5hy. Stick to water.
I have seat covers on my seats. Protects from dirty feet. I also have rubber mats. This is not a hard problem to solve. |
Jesus, aren't you a judgmental peach. |
Perfect example of how lazy our society is becoming. Take the time to learn how to write and spell correctly, and if you aren't willing to do it, don't get annoyed when people say something about it. I don't care what your ethnicity is. Take the time to write properly. It's that simple. |
Exactly OP ignore the people who are saying your English is not good, it's perfect. They are jealous because most MB are not hiring white English speaking nannies anymore. My MB always says my English is perfect but when I post something here in this site..most of them complain about my English like I am writing essay for my school, for me this shows how low theit thinking is. |
| If you can afford a 42K car, you can afford to have it detailed. Paying milage is standard. Kids should not be eating in the car. Messy shoes come off. |
| I would never hire a nanny who did not have her own car to use since we do not have an extra. |
Naw, just a nanny who keeps current with the latest research regarding nutrition and obesity. My charges are given milk, water, and whole fruits. I would never ever let my charges eat while I'm driving-that is irresponsible and terribly lazy. I also work with educated families who want their kids to have the best start in life and fruit juice boxes are not part of that plan. |
