If it has only been two weeks thus far & your nanny has already been late 2x (10 min.-30min.), then that is just irresponsible of her and a clear sign that she is not taking her job as seriously as she should. I would issue her her walking papers stat.

Re: Eating breakfast once she arrives, that is also a huge no-no. She should eat breakfast prior to coming in to work in my opinion.

*Hope this helps.

I agree. Nothing bugs me more than lateness. And your nanny should eat BEFORE she comes to work. Mention both issues to her now and don;t let this get out of hand.

Talk to her and ask her to start the work at sharp time.

I think people are missing the point of being 1-2 minutes late every day. It's not a big deal at the time, but it's a sign that your morning routine doesn't have room for even a 5 minute deviation from the ideal. Any extra traffic, bus delay, misplaced phone, etc, will make you late.

Adjust her schedule 15 minutes earlier on both ends, especially since you are able to let her out early.
Say, Larla, I'm adjusting your worktime slightly to 7:45am-5:45pm. problem solved

and if she says no, then tell her she needs to in your house, ready to work by 8am every day.
