Am I right or wrong about pay?

OP said she could come in. That mb just wanted to save some money and not disappoint the grandma that she wasnt needed anymore. It was an ear infection not the stomach flu or strep. you should've been paid since you have 40 GH per week. this has nothing to do with sick days

GH at 40 per week, 5 days per week translate to 8 hours per day. Two days you took off unpaid; two days that MB said that you had to stay home after you said that you were happy to work. You should have been paid for 3 days (24 hours), not 8 hours, but not 40 hours. Bring up the issue with MB in an email, but be aware that she may decide to not pay. Because this is a temp situation, you really don't have much bargaining room.

Well actually, since its a temp job, it's probably going to hurt the family more than the nanny if the arrangement fails. Temp positions are hard to fill to begin with, and get harder the shorter the temp job.
