Sounds much like the mess some nannies find every morning, except there's no housekeeper to take care of it.

What happens to OP when the kids outgrow their naps?
Will you just bounce to another baby that needs 2-3 naps a day so you can too?

I have 7 month old twins and I do 3-4 loads of laundry per week, unload the dishwasher daily and wash all the dishes I use, make them homemade baby purees, wipe down their high chairs and the kitchen floor daily, keep toys picked up and sanitize them periodically, and mop the playroom floor (foam matts) twice per week. Get it together, OP.

Many nannies consider this to be par for the course. PP isn't doing anything outrageous. Certainly not something only a mother would do...

I'm the mommy and I do this with my one kid. I'm hiring for a nanny and this is what I would expect from them.

I am the nanny. With previous families I have done all this plus weekly grocery shopping and making family dinner a few noghts per week.

Sorry, hit enter too soon. My point is that cleaning up after the children, preparing their food, and keeping the places in the house that they regularly use neat is pretty much standard nanny operating procedure. If you can't manage to vacuum at least once a week, that I'm seriously concerned about why you need so many breaks and what you were going to do if one of the kids is sick or teething and does not nap.

Me too, and at every stage -- when they were 1 yo, 2yo, 3 & 1yo, 4 & 2 yo, as well as with elementary age.
