Don't waste your time here.

Perhaps she isn't responding because her logical, sensible advice got written off as a troll post (BTW, that word doesn't mean what you all seem to think it does). Why would anyone with anything useful to say continue to return here while you immature bitchy nannies tear down every single response that doesn't imply that nannies should be able to do whatever the f*** they want to all day and be paid $30 for the privilege of their presence?

Hi Rosie! Why not start another thread explaining your version of "troll"?

Not "rosie", check with Jeff. You just can't handle when anyone calls you out, can you? You must be a great role model for children.

What is wrong with some of you?
I'm a nanny of many years. I come from a restaurant career and know how to eat on the fly. Most jobs we settle into a rhythm of the day and I can easily figure out how to structure meals. I eat a light snack as I leave in the morning, a light early lunch with the baby before we get her sister from school, and sometimes a light late lunch while they are napping (10 hr day). I pack simple things and some days I can eat at leisure, some are rushed. That's the life of a nanny. I don't see why you can't have some fruit or half a sandwich that you brought before 2:30, as you work.

There's no troll. Some employers have weird rules. Some employees don't know much about how to structure a day. Your troll calling is annoying and I'm going to start clicking report on the Rosie poster. Even if it were a troll post, it raises a fair question that is good for discussion for those new to working in other's homes. Just post an opinion on the topic or move on.

Sue for what, exactly? Are nannies not allowed to have any oversight whatsoever?
