To me, this is most definitely a no-brainer OP.
Family 1 all the way!! |
Yep I'm sure they meant per wk and they are lying. $30 hr for one infant and it's their first time having a nanny and child? Sure. |
12.36. I've interviewed with families for whom I would be the first nanny when the child was as old as 3.5. Many moms choose to stay home with an infant, maybe a toddler, but go back to work sometime between 1 and 5 years. Some have a grandmother care for the child until grandma says that she's not capable of running after the toddler/preschooler anymore. Sometimes they try daycare and realize that the child is out sick more than the child is in school. Maybe they had an AP, but now they want someone who can work more than 45 hours and speaks English as the first language (and isn't a late teen or early 2 something). There are plenty of ways that the first nanny might start sometime between 6 months and 5 years. And $30/hour isn't unreasonable if the nanny has the experience and expertise to command that rate. |
Ok op thanks |
I'm not OP, I'm 12.36... |

I'm the op
And I'm choosing #1, it's a better fit (family, lifestyle, home, parenting style, etc). Thank everyone. |
