| PP here whose employers took back the day off. I'm not sure where you all got the idea that I was trying to do the bare minimum. I said what they did was annoying. I still went to work. Not really a big deal. If I begin to see a pattern of them choosing not to be generous, it will become a bigger deal. |

That's what I was trying to point out. Nowhere did the PP say that she was going to do the bare minimum, and most of us would be annoyed but work the same way we normally do. There are very few jobs in which a boss will give you the day off, make sure that you know you aren't on call and then call you in to work as well. Yes, there are emergencies, and it does happen. But it wasn't an emergency for that nanny's bosses. |
