Wow. I totally agree with you on ALL counts.
I would be mad as hell too. Your MB sounds very selfish, inconsiderate and not very motherly. I would want to spend all my time with my baby after being gone over a week. Tell her you cannot work late, that you have made "plans." (Even if your plans include nothing more than sleeping..LOL) Man, she is treating you like SuperNanny/Robot. |

Meh, you're complaining over a lot of nothing. None of us, in the real world, are adequately thanked for what we do. That's the way it is.
You have two choices. Quit and try to find a sweet high paying job where the employers drop on their knees on a daily basis to thank you. Or just do your job, refuse extra hours, and keep your focus on your charge. |
| I'm sorry! If you were my nanny I'd be over the moon happy and grateful. |

My last MB was like that -- unless she brought her friends home and them she was all over the kid. It was always all about her 100% of the time. She always played the victim.
And I cannot wait until this fad of not bathing your children is over. THe kids STINK. |
Agreed. Not using harsh soap on arms and legs more than twice per week is one thing. Not using soap at all, not washing the diaper area and letting your child stink is quite another. |
+1,000,000 Not bathing your children is a terrible fad and a result of lazy parenting. I teach in a daycare and some of the kids smell terrible. You can wash the diaper area with a very mild cleanser and put moisturizer on the child's body after bath if the kid truly has dry skin but please bathe your children every night!!! |
Yeah, poor you. Try taking care of your own baby for ten hours a day and then take shit for not doing it "right". |
