Home daycare providers are just as good as nannies and some nannies worse. The only difference is that foe home daycare providers it is a numbers game. They charge $300 a child, but might have 10 kids and hire a helper or 2. Parents save money because it is an inconvenience. However don't be mistaken, home daycare is not an inferior childcare.not is different and most definitely has its benefits. The OP is wise to ride this gravy train because no parent in their right mind would pay nanny rates for this arrangement. |
Actually, no, this would not be a daycare, in a daycare there are multiple children not just the providers child and one other child. This is more akin to a share where the nanny happens to be the mother of the other child and the host of the share. |
| Op here. Thanks for all the responses. To the posters questioning my rate, due to bringing my child, I do not make my typical rate, I'm only making slightly above a share rate for my experience. |
