That's why I said hire a housekeeper/nanny or a household manager. There are a lot of people interested in a long term job with varied duties who maybe don't want to be with kids all day long. I suggest you don't apply for this job.

I never met a nanny (or "housekeeper nanny") who wants to clean your crap, unless there's no other job option for her.

Do a quick search on care.com. There are lots and lots of housekeepers looking for work, and many of them also advertise that they will care for children. Do you really think there is no one in the world who can do a good job with children and manage a household? Some people like to clean to the same extent that other people like to hang out all day with toddlers, which would drive me batty!

Yup.

I had no problem finding such a person. Our current nanny/housekeeper came from a family where she worked for 11years. She is a native English speaker and has the added bonus of being able to stay on the kids and making sure they are doing their homework and tutoring when needed.

I work from home and she's currently playing memory with my 5yr old at the table while my 9yr scrambled some eggs, she is thr one who has been teaching him little by little how to cook. She's awesome and has plenty of options.
