It does sound like you have had a string of bad luck.

Keep in mind when MBs feel like it is not working out, something they expected is not happening, they will try to find a way out without blaming you. Like "I decided to quit my job, just today." Really? She could've decided that a week ago, she could've decided that when she was interviewing you.

I'm not saying you are terrible. A string of long things like that does sound like bad luck. But it also sounds like you are not what people are looking for either.

Are you looking at your phone a lot at work? Are you dedicated to the kids during your paid time at work?
