| We really like the flexibility of a nanny and not have to pack up our toddler in the morning. With DS turning 2 in the summer and #2 following shortly after- DS is going to morning preschool and nanny will pick up and drop off. It is a large extra expense but we think it is the best for us and DS. |

If you can financially swing it, I would take the Nanny route.
She is still quite young and doesn't necessarily need socialization on a daily basis with other kids. A nanny is best for her because she can continue receiving one-on-one attention on a personal level as well as being able to stay in her own home, sleep in her own bed and play with her own toys. Kids at this age like personal attention and this would be the best choice for her. When she turns 3, you can re-evaluate the situation more. Good luck. |
| If you would be moving toward full day preschool by age 4, then you may as well look at a full-day daycare/"school" that has a preschool program she can move into as she ages. |
Most nannies who work with toddlers and preschoolers do this... |
| Ok I know this is off topic but OP you have a 2.5 year old. Not a "28 month old". |
